Our Mission
The Hagen Center's Community Service program provides students with opportunities to serve, to connect with the greater Springfield community, and to reflect on the service experience to better understand themselves, community needs, and their responsibility in advancing the common good.
Our Purpose
- Oversees the community service/civic engagement requirement and CCUE 100- Civic Engagement through Service course.
- Coordinates the Civic Engagement Scholar Award program.
- Supports and organizes Wittenberg-sponsored service immersion trips.
- Assists student organizations with making connecting to the community.
- Plans special community engagement experiences for the campus community.
Fall and Spring Semester: 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday
Summer Hours: 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday
